Are you looking for school spaces for next September for your child?
Choosing a school for your little one can be daunting so at St. Peter’s we try to make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible. We welcome families to come and view our school and grounds at any time so they are able to feel and breathe in our nurturing school ethos.
We pride ourselves on welcoming families from all faiths and beliefs and celebrate our diverse community. You do not need to be Catholic to apply.
At St. Peter’s, children start school in Reception where they are given a great start to their school life. We are proud of our nurturing and creative approach to learning and strive to make every child feel like an individual. Children at St. Peter’s are happy and proud of their school and love to tell our visitors all about what they have been learning!

Who to contact
All our admissions, whether they are for children starting school for the first time or for 'in-year' applications, are dealt with by Buckinghamshire Council. Full information may be found on their website:
Please note that we do not have a defined catchment area so the Postcode Checker will always suggest you are not in catchment for our school. Please do not be put off by this.

In-year Applications (please read the in-year admissions guide on the Buckinghamshire Council website)
To request an alternative school place (not due to a house move):-
In this case, parents should contact their child's current school to obtain an application form. The form should be completed by the parent and Headteacher and e-mailed to the admissions team at Buckinghamshire Council or posted to the Admission & Transport Team, County Hall, Aylesbury, HP20 1UZ.
If moving into, or within, the county:-
Please complete the online application form on the Buckinghamshire Council website (https://www.buckinghamshire.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/schools-index/school-admissions/change-schools-in-year/). Parents will also need to submit supporting documentary evidence, either via e-mail or by post, to the Admission & Transport team.
Admission to Primary Schools (Reception)
If your child was born between 01/09/2021 and 31/08/2022, you can apply for a school place online via Buckinghamshire Council (buckinghamshire.gov.uk). Dates have not yet been published by Buckinghamshire Council. A guide is provided annually by Buckinghamshire Council and is available to view on their website (see above). Information on key dates, how to apply online, school catchment areas, open days and admission policies may also be viewed there.
Waiting Lists
Please note that Buckinghamshire Council hold all our waiting lists so school is not able to inform you of the length of these waiting lists.

STARTING IN RECEPTION
Before your child can start at school you must ensure that they are ready.
