St Peter’s Catholic Primary School is a small and friendly school of around 200 pupils in the Thames side town of Marlow, South Bucks. Whilst our children come mainly from Catholic families, we at St Peter’s are an inclusive school and are pleased to welcome children from all faiths and backgrounds.
Our academic results for Early Years, key stage 1 and key stage 2 are consistently above both the Buckinghamshire and national averages and OFSTED recognises that we are a good school; praising the achievement of the pupils, behaviour and safety, the leadership and management and the quality of teaching.
At St Peter’s we strive to provide an outstanding education by promote a caring, Catholic ethos that encourages each individual child, whatever their background or abilities, to thrive and fulfil his or her potential. It is our priority to ensure that every child is happy at school and is inspired to love learning and that every family feels part of our school community.
We are a one form entry school with seven year groups from Reception through to year 6. Most of St Peters’ pupils are drawn from the parishes of Marlow and its surrounding villages such as Bourne End, but we also have children from the nearby towns of High Wycombe and Maidenhead. All of our children progress on to local secondary schools, including our local grammar school Sir William Borlase, Great Marlow School and St Michael’s in Wycombe.
